At Skidmore, high school students can imagine their futures while living together,
cultivating new friendships and discovering just the right balance between work and
fun. A carefully selected and trained residential staff, which includes the residence
director, assistant residence director and resident hall advisors (RAs), live with
Pre-College students in their own private residence hall. The residential life program,
designed to support and complement academic and artistic endeavors, ensures that students'
social lives are every bit as exhilarating as their intellectual lives.

Emma Boice, Resident/Academic Assistant
Hi, my name is Emma and I鈥檓 a rising junior. I am a double major in education studies and English from
Princeton, NJ. Outside of the classroom, I am Vice President of HIPS (Health, Image,
Power, Self-Club) and a member of the radio station. I鈥檓 a big basketball and Phillies
fan, I enjoy listening to and chatting about music, and you can always catch me outside
soaking up the sun with a good book. I chose to be a Pre-College mentor because Skidmore

for other people!

Max Restifo-Bernstein, Resident/Academic Assistant
Hey! My name is Max. In May I am graduating from 黑料正能量 as a sociology major and media/film
minor. I love documentary filmmaking, as for me it's the perfect intersection of my
academic fields. I play baseball and squash casually and drum in a rock band on campus.
I am an unparalleled Mario Kart player, but terrible at pretty much any other video
games. I'm here to help you guys with all matters related to your transition to college
and I am also particularly useful if you want to learn more about essay writing, the
social sciences, media/film production, and exploring artistic interests in a college
setting. While it may seem stressful at times, the transition from high school to
college can be the most amazing and exciting experience, and I'm here to help you
guys feel comfortable and prepared coming into this new environment.
